Our beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all people.  It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Because it was inspired by God, the bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

• 2 Timothy 3:16

God

We believe in one God who is eternal in His existence, triune in His manifestation, being Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  He is sovereign and absolute in his authority.

We believe that in Jesus Christ lies the fullness of the Godhead bodily – He is fully God and fully man.

• Deuteronomy 6:4 | Colossians 2:9 | John 1:1 | Luke 1:35

Salvation

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin.  Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.  Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

• Romans 10:13-14

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ.  He leads and guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ.  He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment.  He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and make us more like Christ.

• Genesis 1:2 | Psalm 51:11; 139:7 | Isaiah 61:1-3 | Acts 1:8; 2:1-4 | Revelation 22:17

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever.  He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation.  To be eternally separated from God is Hell.  To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

• John 3:16,36 | Romans 6:23 | 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13 |  Revelation 20:15

Worship

God loves to receive our worship.  Therefore, we believe in worshiping the Lord in spirit, song, dance, and with the raising of our hands.  We believe that we are to praise and worship Him with our whole being.

• Psalm 150:1-6 | John 4:24

Plan of Salvation:
Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do: Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)

"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)

Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
